Beantown baseball is the centerpiece of this splendid collection, which is heavy on the old Braves franchise that departed after the 1951 season. Included are: 1) 1945 Boston Braves team-signed baseball (Official National League) with 21 signatures, NM. 2) Several Boston Braves signed photos, most being modern prints signed during the 1970s-90s, many deceased. A total of 86 includes Bill Terry, 1948 team photo with 11 signatures and many more. Included are about nine that are vintage photos: Dante, Lopez, Sain, etc. 3) Boston Braves player-signed bank check from the legendary collection of Cameron Forrest, a total of 133. with Guy Bush, Cooper, Cuccinello, Dahlgren, Holmes, Marshall, Reiser, Sisti, Stripp, Grimes, Bengough, Spahn (1950), Southworth and many more. There are even a few Red Sox Signed GPCs (20) including Duffy Lewis. Non-Boston items include: 1) Single-signed baseballs with Schmidt, Tiant, Ralph Hodgin, etc.; 3x5 cards signed by mostly HOFers: Hoyt, Medwick, Hubbell, Grimes, Koufax, Paige, Stengel, Dean Greenberg, Lombardi, Carey, DiMaggio, etc. for a total of 70+; and 1950s-70s Vintage-signed Topps baseball Cards (413): 1978 Yount, 1968 Staub, 1961 Santo, Tug McGraw, 1966 Alston, Curt Flood TCMA, T. Conigliaro TCMA and more.
