Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Autographed Exhibit Machine
Vintage 1930's wooden coin-operated exhibit card machine is in nearly perfect condition with the paint on the front and the sides as bold as the day this was displayed in the store. The kicker is that the two cards in the window displaying which cards were available shows the greatest one-two punch in history, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Each card sports beautiful, vintage black fountain ink signatures from each. The Gehrig is 100% authentic and right on the money but the Ruth although original to the period was ghost signed by one of the many people that signed for him. Ruth's signature grades "6" out of a possible 10, Gehrig's grades a "7". A delightful coin-operated penny machine with dual coin slots, made all the more significant with the two biggest legends of the era.
