Babe Ruth And Lou Gehrig Autographed Baseball
The classic combination of baseball’s best power duo are here on this red and black stitched National League baseball. Lucky recipient got both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig to sign the ball and squirrel it away. The Babe’s autograph is on the sweet spot (of course) in vintage fountain pen, and was procured after an exhibition game where he struck out the hallowed slugger. Some light scuffing mainly confined to the last name keeps the autograph from an even loftier status. (6/10). A wonderfully scripted Gehrig signature is subtly placed on a panel below The Bambino and rates a solid 7 of 10 in strength. Ball itself looks game used, but is about EX. Letter of provenance from granddaughter of the original owner.
