A remarkably lifelike depiction of the most legendary baseball player of all-time, Arthur K. Miller's photo-realistic style shines here with the "Sultan of Swat" decked out in full Yankee pinstripes and gazing out toward the diamond. The unusually huge portrait of Ruth on the Dugout Steps Measures 37" x 48", was completed in 1997 and was exhibited at the National Baseball Hall of Fame - much like many other Miller works - during the 1998 season. It is signed in the bottom right. Tastefully framed and ready to hang. A New Jersey native, Miller is based out of York Beach, Maine these days and has been producing such high-quality artworks for over two decades after a career illustrating album covers and Broadway show promotions.
