Babe Ruth St. Double-Sided Street Sign

Babe Ruth St. Double-Sided Street Sign

Everything is bigger in Texas, so it's no surprise that the state has honored Babe Ruth with not one, but two streets named after him. One is located in San Antonio, and the other in El Paso. It is from that latter locale that this large green metallic street sign originates. This double-sided example, which features the "Babe Ruth St." name on each side, was used by the city of El Paso for many years before being retired and replaced with a newer example. As a result, it displays wear commensurate with that use, including scratches, nicks, and surface blemishes. Two screw holes are featured at the base for mounting to the pole. 42x9". This is an unusual Babe Ruth piece that would be perfect for display in either home or office. Please note: the size and/or weight of this lot will necessitate an increased shipping charge.
