Babe Ruth "Striking The Ball" Charles Conlon Type I Photograph

Babe Ruth "Striking The Ball" Charles Conlon Type I Photograph

Remarkable Type I image of Babe Ruth connecting with the ball in what appears to be batting practice before a big game. Missing only his jersey and hat, Ruth has just struck the ball and his eyes are following it out into field. Taken by the legendary Charles Conlon, the image is crystal clear and you can almost read the lettering on the barrel of the bat. Measuring 6x8" overall, this beautiful Type I is stamped "Charles M Conlon - Photographer for Spaldings Guide - Baseball Magazine" and features a handwritten "X1" in pencil. Photograph presents in EX/EX-MT condition; comes with PSA LOA stating it is a Type I example with secretarial signature.
