Barry Larkin Game Worn Hat and Batting Helmet
Over his 19-year, Hall of Fame career, shortstop Barry Larkin never wore anything but a Cincinnati Reds uniform. These two prime pieces of headgear were obtained from the ballclub and show great use. The hat is a New Era 7 1/4 and exhibits sweat and dirt stains with "11" inside mesh and is signed under the brim. The helmet's "C" is missing from the front but the adhesive that was used still forms the letter. "Larkin 11" is written in faded marker inside. Both items come from Larkin's early days in Cincinnati.
