Baseball Pinback Collection
This lot consists of baseball pins of various shapes, styles and sizes. Among them are 12 Yankees pins, many of which include ribbons and descending plastic bats and balls. Among the stars are Berra, Ford, Rizzuto, Ruffing, Munson and Stengel. There is also a 1953 AL Champion button with team photo. There are 15 other pinbacks from players such as Ted Williams, Clemente, Hubbell, Reese, Petrocelli and Satchel Paige. There are team pins for the Pirates, Tigers, Boston Braves and 1939 NL Champion Reds, as well as two plastic batting figures for Richie Ashburn and Jerry Coleman. Most are in G-VG range with some show yellowing and water damage.
