Bayard French Art Poster

Bayard French Art Poster

Large linen backed Bayard lithograph of a clothing ad is a classic example of '30s French art with slightly surreal images projecting style, class and a what-me-worry attitude in the face of gathering war clouds. A distinguished, scarved gentleman clad in a green and black trench coat, collar turned up, gloved hand tucked into the belt, cockily half-grinning, perhaps thinking about the ephemeral image of a woman swirling behind him in yellow. Top reads "Bayard" and the bottom "Fraisse Vetements" and a location in Grenoble". 46" x 63" framed. MT. Great for a man's dressing room or bedroom.
