Beatles Apple Boutique 1968 Long Coat
Magnificent and sooooo mod, Pop Art green and red wool Footman’s coat with a sumptuous gold satin lining, resembles a Peter Max design. Coat was purchased at the Apple Boutique on Baker Street in Swinging London's famous Chelsea section in 1968. On a trip to London to meet with the Beatles, the President of the Beatles Fan Club of Charlottesville, NC purchased the Footman’s coat as a keepsake from her memorable London trip. Complete with a large silk Apple Clothing label, coat is a size 40-42 US, and is in mint, unworn condition.
