Beatles Pinball Machine

Beatles Pinball Machine

Ladies and Gentleman, the Bootles (sic)!!! This ultra-colorful vintage pinball machine was maufactured by Williams Electronics in 1966. Clearly, an unlicensed ( no NEMS) mimic of The "Fab Four". The Boys' are accurate down to the left handed bass player, "Mop Top" haircuts, collarless jackets and "Ya-Ya-Ya" slogan. In addition, "The Bootles" pinball machine features on the play-field, the satirical names of other 60s' groups such as "The Vultures" ( The Ventures) and "The Groaning Bones" (Rolling Stones). Beatles manager Brian Epstein gained a cease and desist order against Williams Electronics for copyright infringement. A low run of only 500 were manufactured and only 48 are known to still exist. One is rumored to be in the personal collection of Sir Paul McCartney. This vintage pinball machine is complete and all original. Back glass shows minor paint flaking in the lower right corner but is an awesome display piece. The playfield is EX-MT and shows average use wear. This rare beauty is in working condition and presents a super scarce piece of coin-operated Beatlemania .
