From their days on the Ed Sullivan Show, through their experimental late-1960's period, and all the way to today with their recently released Rock Band videogame, the Beatles have proven themselves as one of the most enduring and iconic names in rock and roll. This lot features a collection of Beatles-related memorabilia, including: two 2 acoustic guitars signed by Pete Best; two acoustic guitars signed by three members of Wings (Denny Laine, Denny Seiwell, and Laurence Juber), with a "Wings" inscription on each, a Wings "Wingspan" poster signed by the above three, a copy of "This is the .... The Savage Young Beatles" LP, signed by Pete Best, and a flyer for David Peel & the Lower East Side Band's "The Pope Smokes Dope" LP, signed in red marker by Peel. Beneath the band's name, "Produced by John Lennon / Yoko Ono" appears in black type. The entire Beatles set covers some of the closest people to the band, and is a great collection for any serious Beatlemaniac.
