Beautiful 1927 William Howard Taft Signature (PSA)
Gorgeous signature from William Howard Taft, the 27th President of the United States, dated "Oct. 30, 1927". At the time he signed, Taft was the Chief Justice of the United States, and he is the only person in history to have served as both President and Chief Justice. Taft was elected President in 1908, but failed to win re-election four years later when he was opposed by Woodrow Wilson and his former champion Theodore Roosevelt, who effectively "Nadered" the election. The card measures 2x3.5", signature rates 10/10 and has been matted and framed to 9.5 x 8.5" with a little plaque underneath it. <span style="font-size: 13px;">Comes certified by PSA.</span>
