Beautiful 1959 National Champion Syracuse Orangemen Team Signed Football (PSA)
The 1959 Syracuse Orangmen were a special team. Led by Ben Schartzwalder and Ernie Davis, Syracuse finished 11-0 with five shutouts, outscored its opponents 413-73 and won the National Championship. To commemorate that wonderful season is this beautiful team-signed Rawlings EA-2 EX-MT football. Hand-painted in orange and blue, one panel of the ball reads, "Syracuse - 59 - National Champions." 41 signatures can be found on the panel above the artwork and just below the laces. Perfect for display purposes, all 41 signatures are in the same color ink and feature notable starting players including Ernie Davis, Ben Schartzwalder, Ger Schwedes, Art Baker, Fred Mautino, Bob Yates, Bruce Tarbox, John Brown and many other notables.
