Beautiful View of the Polo Grounds Photograph (PSA Type I)
Circa 1912 view of the historic Polo Grounds in this Type I photo. Expansive shot from center field shows a packed house during game action with players on the field, and with the apartment buildings of Upper Manhattan beyond the stands. Vintage 5x6.75" shot is trimmed at the left margin and has some small dents and creases but the beauty of this image remains intact. Verso says "Polo Grounds" in pencil along with stamps from noted photo aggregation service Brown Brothers. Includes PSA LOA affirming that this is a Type I photo.
