Bernie Madoff Stock Certificate For Joe Namath's "Broadway Joe's"
Beautiful stock certificate from Broadway Joe's Inc. issued to Bernard Madoff on June 13, 1969, roughly five months after the incredible Super Bowl 3. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with an image of a Joe Namath preparing to throw a pass. Stock certificate is in EX condition with "Bernard L. Madoff" typed on the front as well as his very clear and legible signature on the back. Madoff would eventually gain infamy as the man behind a the Ponzi scheme operation responsible for $64.5 billion in fraud. Fascinating piece, it is believed that Bernie had stock in this venture simply for VIP treatment at the hottest club in town.
