On May 19th, 1974 the Philadelphia Flyers, with Bernard Marcel Parent between the pipes, become the first expansion franchise to give Lord Stanley's Cup a new home. Parent was masterful in net and this stick was used on that historic evening as he shut down the lanes recording a 1-0 shutout victory over Orr and his Bruins. Vintage white cloth tape on the blade, paddle and knob with "Parent B." and "1" factory stampings. Late season manufacture date stamp reads "21 Avr 1974". This historic relic shows light game use with no cracking or damage. Bernie has signed the paddle and added the notation "1973-74 Stanley Cup". Comes with a detailed Letter of Provenance.
