Great content as this lot provides a first hand look into the life of an NFL president in the 1930s. This 9x11" binder includes 79 pages of handwriting in Hall of Famer Bert Bell's hand, with alphabetical tabs and everything clearly organized. For example, the Expenses are under "E" and Salaries are under "S" with sections for player salaries, about legal expenses, league dues, licensing costs, expenses, office salaries, office expenses, paying officials, newspaper ads, stadium rent, team salaries, and much more. Bert wrote his last name "Bell" 17 times with two being full "Bert Bell" autographs. Writing is in pencil and pen, 12 pages are loose but the book remains in fine condition considering its extensive use.
