Big Bopper Handwritten Postcard
Postcard from the Big Bopper J.P. Richardson to his children posted on November 10, 1958, only three months before the “day that music died”. The plane crash that also took the lives of Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens. In blue ballpoint, the postcard begins “Dear Babies” and is signed, “I Love you, Daddy”, is addressed to his wife Mrs. J.P. Richardson in Louisiana. Postcard came from the family. Shows some wear, was probably read and re-read over the years.
