Bill Carrigan Presentational 1912 Trophy & Game Worn Glove
Masterful silverplate trophy is engraved, "Presented To Bill Carrigan As A Token Of Esteem…Pine Cone Council… Bangor, Maine December 26, 1912." Wonderful Victorian handles and exceptional quality. The base is bent and needs some resilvering. Stands 11" tall, silver mark on the bottom. Comes with his personal baseball glove that he used as a player-manager with the Boston Red Sox. It is a Stall & Dean and is in excellent condition. Both were obtained from the auction of Carrigan's estate. Carrigan led the Boston Red Sox to two World Championships and will forever go down as being a master of the Bambino Curse before there was such a thing.
