Rich vintage photograph of the legendary Bill Russell in his first ever Boston Celtics and NBA game. Boston Garden December 22, 1957 versus the St. Louis Hawks. He is, of course, coming down acrobatically with the rebound. U.P.I. and N.E.A. stamps on verso as this is from the famed "Cleveland Collection" of the Scripps-Howard newspaper chain.
