Bill Russell at University of San Francisco (1955)
Head shot wire photo of basketball legend Bill Russell while he was a student at the University of San Francisco. Shot in February, 1955, smiling from ear to ear after a USF victory. Photo is 7" x 9 1/8" and is in VG-EX condition with a small tear on the lower left corner and some discoloration on his right lapel. Russell and his USF teammates went on to win the NCAA championship that year (1955) and the following year (1956) as well. Playing for the NBA Boston Celtics starting in 1956, he went on to win 11 NBA championships during a 13 year career.
