Bob Gibson Framed Photo from Cardinals’ Club

Bob Gibson Framed Photo from Cardinals’ Club

As good a Bob Gibson photo are there is. This perfect shot of the legendary hurler in his ‘60s prime shows him putting every ounce of his anatomy and spirit into a pitch he has just released. Seen from the first base side, his long cobra-like body uncoils in a seemingly wild manner, yet in reality with immaculate physics and body control. We see his right leg parallel to the ground, his left elbow bent at a 45-degree angle, his left foot balanced on his toe, all ensuring max power from his frightening right arm. We also see his eyes burning like hot coals. The amazing and gorgeously sepia toned photo hung in the Cardinals Club and has a plaque at center bottom reading: “Bob Gibson, Most Cardinals Career Victories, 251” Matted and gold framed, 39” long, 32” wide and EX-MT. <br>(Estimate $300 - $500)
