Bobby Hull’s 600th NHL Goal Game Used Stick
Bobby Hull racked up his 600th NHL goal late in the 1971-72 season. Soon he would make headlines by leaping to the fledgling World Hockey Association. The puck that became number 600 flew from the blade of this disguised Northland gamer. The stick, with the accent stripping of the Chicago Blackhawks, is stamped “Gunzos” and “B. Hull” with factory pattern number “0667”. The notched knob is wrapped with Bobby’s distinctive knob tape job in the heavy black “bulldog” tape. Bobby marked this one “600th” high up on the shaft and brought it home for safekeeping. The Golden Jet later presented this milestone stick to the son of a business partner (they co-owned a hockey stick manufacturing company) and it will come with a detailed Letter of Authenticity.
