Bongo Drum Signed By The 1965 New York Yankees

Bongo Drum Signed By The 1965 New York Yankees

Without a ball, bat, or autograph book in sight, one lucky fan grabbed the next best thing...this pair of miniature bongos. Signed during the Yankees exhibition tour of Puerto Rico in 1965, it includes twenty-two blue ballpoint autographs, highlighted by: Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Whitey Ford, Elston Howard, Phil Rizzuto, Tony Kubek, Bobby Richardson, Mel Stottlemyre, Joe Pepitone, Frank Crosetti and Tom Tresh. Collectively, they grade as 7/10 only because some have lightened with age. The instruments themselves, with minor toning to the heads, are EX+. One of the most unique Yankees signed items ever to surface! Obtained in Puerto Rico, by the consignor's mother, at the same hotel The Bombers were staying.
