Boston Celtics Legends Signed Boston Garden Photograph w/Bill Russell & Larry Bird
Presented is a terrific collectible for any sports aficionado: A strikingly vivid color photo of the Boston Garden with 19 autographs from Boston Celtics Hall of Famers, including Bill Russell and Larry Bird, and an additional autograph from Hall of Fame New York Knicks opponent, forward Dave DeBusschere. Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Red Auerbach, Bob Cousy, John Havlicek, Nate Archibald, Kevin McHale, Sam Jones, Bill Walton, Robert Parish, Jojo White, Bill Sharman, Dave Cowens, KC Jones, Tom Heinsohn, Dennis Johnson, Satch Sanders (who inscribed his #16), Ed McCauley, Frank Ramsey, and Dave DeBusschere. All of the autographs are signed in black marker, and all of the autographs (with the exception of Bill Russell's) are signed in the white matting that borders the photograph. Russell has signed in the center of the photo, right over the beautiful parquet floor. The great Celtics center and coach has added an inscription by writing his famous "#7" beneath his signature, also written with a black marker. The photo measures approx. 7.5x9.5". It is matted and framed to 12x15". On the back of the matting, an unknown hand has printed the names of the players who autographed the photo, but there is a mistake. The unknown hand listed the fifth autograph on the bottom, left to right, as Jack Ramsay, Hall of Fame NBA coach. However, the autograph is actually that of Frank Ramsay, Boston Celtics Hall of Fame "Sixth Man." In addition, the printing by an unknown hand on the back does not have an update to list all of the players as Hall of Famers. The signed photo is in excellent condition and the autographs are big and bold. The Boston Celtics have won an NBA record 17 Championships, and most of the greatest all-time Celtics stars of have autographed this photo. It is a collectible sure to enhance interest in any sports collection.
