Boston Garden Clocks and Signs (4)
Relics from the old Boston Garden, this lot contains the 24 second clock, as well as team fouls (2) and timeouts signage that adorned the ancient edifice known as the "Gaahhden". The remains of the 24 second clock, the same one that Larry Bird among other players looked at to determine how quickly to get off a buzzer beating shot, measure 16" x 11" x 5" and may or may not be functioning as the wires were clipped when it was removed from the building. The signs measure 26" x 12" x 7" and back in the day indicated to the millions of fans and thousands of players that passed through the former home of the Celtics and Bruins how many timeouts and fouls had been called at any given moment. Imagine the sports history these relics have been a part of.
