UPDATE: This description has been updated.
While these seats originate from the Boston Garden, they were actually used at the Boston Arena, which predates the Garden, and were purchased by the Garden to be used as parts. When the contents of the Garden were sold by Lelands several years ago, about 25-50 sets of these chairs were discovered in the basement. The Boston Bruins played thier first four season's at the Boston Arena. Red painted seat backs with natural wood seat bottoms. Original white paint on the seat backs read #1 and #2. The parts are all original with no broken pieces or cracked slats. Since these seats were not exposed to the elements like many stadium chairs, the wear is typically confined to scratches on the surface or minor paint chips. These are in amazing condition and are of a style that rarely appears at auction.
