Collection of 1960's original boxing wire photos (30) including boxing greats Joe Louis, Floyd Patterson and Canadian champ George Chuvalo. Photos range from VG to NRMT. A few are art enhanced as was customary in that era. One photo shows Floyd Patterson and Geore Chuvalo weighing in before their bout in February, 1965. Another shows Floyd Patterson consoling Chuvalo whose right eye is swollen and closing up at the end of their 12-round fight at Madison Square Garden February 1, 1965. Another shows Chuvalo having his head gear adjusted as Joe Louis looks on during training for his upcoming bout versus Cassius Clay, March 1966. Joe Louis joined the Chuvalo camp to help with "secret strategy" as Chuvalo prepped to fight Cassius Clay. Clay went on to win a unanimous decision March 29, 1966.
