Boys From Boston Contracts, Negatives, etc.
Ted Williams, Bobby Orr and Larry Bird are three of the greatest athletes ever to play in the City of Boston. In the early 90s, the triumverate appeared together only once at a television show in Boston. The material from this lot dates from that appearance. Included in this collection are the original contracts signed by Williams, Bird and Orr as well as nearly 100 photo negatives of these three legends together promoting "The Boys from Boston" merchandise. A full color 16 x 20" photo produced from one of the negatives as well as the negative are also included. Williams' signature is in bold blue ink and reads, "Theodore S. Williams." Williams' son John Henry Williams also signed his contract. Bobby Orr and Larry Bird each signed their respective contracts in black ink. The signatures average a "9" out of a possible 10. The negatives are NRMT.
