Branch Rickey 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers Signed Agreement - Year He Signed Jackie Robinson

The man who literally changed the complexion of baseball, Branch Rickey signed this typed agreement from the Brooklyn Dodgers three months before Jackie Robinson would make his major league debut and break the color barrier in the process. The letter, which was drafted by WHN radio director Herbert Pettey concerns wire casts and engineer issues regarding out-of-town games and addressed to Dodgers owner Walter O'Malley.
