Brian Piccolo Signed Chicago Bears Photograph Because he was not selected in the 1965 NFL draft or AFL draft, Piccolo tried out for the Chicago Bears as a free agent. Initially on the practice squad, Piccolo finally made the roster in 1966 in a special teams role. In 1967 he got more playing time backing up superstar starting tailback Gale Sayers, which increased after Sayers' knee injury in November 1968.Beautiful black and white image of Brain Piccolo has been signed and inscribed, "To Stereo City - Best Wishes - Brian Piccolo." Professionally framed and matted image is believed to be Type I; display has not been disassembled to inspect. Photo appears to be in EX condition overall with only a minor water stain noticed.
