An iconic image that will live in the hearts of Brooklynites forever, this Type I photograph depicts the aftermath of the Dodgers' 1955 World Series Championship win over the rival New York Yankees. Measuring 7x9", the widely-seen image features Johnny Podres - who tossed the Game 7 series-winning shutout - accepting a celebratory kiss on each cheek from teammates Gil Hodges and Carl Furillo. Very minor creasing evident in this original shot, with wire copy caption taped to back along with stamps from Brown Brothers, as this is part of their legendary archive. PSA letter included.
