Brooklyn Flatbush Avenue Street Sign
The central artery for the borough of Brooklyn, Flatbush Avenue runs from the Manhattan Bridge to Jamaica Bay. About 80 years ago, this vintage metal sign graced one of the avenue's intersections, where it hung above its residents, pedestrians and motorists for several years. Measuring over 25" wide, the sign reveals lots of character with layers of black paint and yellow painted lettering. It is double-sided and in VG condition.
