Brooklyn Royal Rooters at 1916 World Series by Charles Conlon
Handful of Brooklyn fans from the 1916 World Series in image by noted lensman Charles Conlon. Approximately 4.75x4.00" black and white shot shows front row fans with great pennants showing their support for the Robins - as they were known at the time - apparently from Game 3 or 4, which were played at Ebbets Field. Appears to be trimmed from a larger photo as handwritten identification and stamps on reverse run off two edges. Conlon's signature is in pencil, along with Brown Brothers stamps, for the service that accumulated historic pictures of this type.
