Brooklyn Tip-Tops Federal League Glass Plate Negative

Brooklyn Tip-Tops Federal League Glass Plate Negative

Rare glass plate negative team photo of the Brooklyn Tip Tops, circa 1914-15. The Tip Tops were actually named for a local baking company and spent just two years playing in the Federal League. Identified across the top border as "Brooklyn Team Federal League" on this 7x5" vintage shot. While panoramic photos of the team exist, this is the first we've seen with the more compact version employing two rows with players kneeling in front. Historic piece from the Brown Brothers archive.
