Buck Weaver Chicago White Sox Photograph by Charles Conlon (PSA Type I)
Circa mid-1910s image of Chicago White Sox infielder Buck Weaver, who gained infamy as one of the "Eight Men Out" in the 1919 Black Sox scandal. A couple of small blemishes and a pinhole dot the 6.5x4.5" image of the smiling Weaver, while he is identified in pencil on the verso in legendary photographer Charles Conlon's writing, along with other notations in a different hand. Also has stamps from Brown Brothers, as part of their photo collection service. Encapsulated PSA Type I Authentic.
