Cal Ripken Jr. Autographed Photo-Matched Uniform and Spikes

Cal Ripken Jr. Autographed Photo-Matched Uniform and Spikes

This is the only Home Run Cal Ripken Jr. jersey with cleats ever to be offered to the public, and the best documented uniform and cleats on the market. On July 25, 1999 the Baltimore Orioles used this uniform for one game. Ripken homered in the game for his 399th home run and his 3,960th hit. Ripken's Nike air cleats are both signed by him on the outside heels, and they show nice use for one game. Both signatures are graded 10. The pants have a white patch sewn onto the left knee. The inside tag at the waist reads, "8-Ripken.37/40-34-99." The Russell Athletic pants are a size 38. The back of the jersey has the chalk marks from when he was beaned. The back says "8," with "Ripken" sewn on vertically. The autograph on the wing reads, "Cal Ripken, Jr., 7/25/99, #399" in silver pen. There's a good amount of dirt on the front of the jersey, which has a Russel Athletic tag size 48 The jersey comes with three orange ticket stubs from the Orioles/Angels on July 25, 1999. The terrace box stubs say, "Game #48". Also included is a letter from the Baltimore Orioles titled, "Century 21, Turn Ahead the Clock Game, Silent Auction and Raffle." This letter tells the consignor that he won this Cal Ripken Jr. game-worn and autographed jersey. The jersey and cleats are photo-matched with two beautiful 11 x 14" full color photos by The Baltimore Sun. These are nice enough to be framed for display themselves! Also included is a full color photo of Cal that has been mounted on wood and measures 16 x 20". On top of this, there are two team LOAs which authenticate Ripken's autograph on the cleats and on the jersey. These two photos can also be found printed on the back page of the accompanying sports section of The Sun, as well as the box score. Superb lot worn by "The Iron Man."
