The ace of the Dodgers' staff over the team's last 10 years at Ebbets Field, Carl Erskine was a money player for the Brooklyn faithful, and he certainly spent well in his later years, as evidenced by these 100 checks circa 1973-91 that boast beautiful signatures. They are all issued by the First National Bank of Madison County in Indiana (his home state) and come directly from Erskine through the Sal Larocca Collection.
