Carl Furillo 1956 Topps Original Art
He and his team owned Brooklyn while capturing the heart of the rest of New York City. Right fielder Carl Furillo played with the Brooklyn Dodgers during their glory days. He played his entire 15 year career with one team, following the Dodgers when they sadly left Brooklyn and moved out west to Los Angeles. In its 1956 series, Topps listed him as card number 190. Included here is the original 1956 Furillo card and the original art showing a smiling headshot of the Dodger superimposed over an action photo of him beating the catcher’s tag and scoring another big run! You, too, can score big with this rare and wonderful piece of Furillo history.
