Carl Yastrzemski Boston Red Sox Game-Worn 1960s Hat

Carl Yastrzemski Boston Red Sox Game-Worn 1960s Hat

Baseball's last triple crown winner until Miguel Cabrera achieved the feat this season, Carl Yastrzemski was one of the game's all-time best sluggers, spending all 23 years of his major league career with the Boston Red Sox. Here's a gorgeous red-and-blue cap from the 18-time All-Star, dating to the early 1960s, when he was a young pup. The Roman Pro Maker cap is a Size 7 with a leather band. Yaz's number 8 is written under the brim in vintage ink and there appears to be light use. Yastrzemski amassed 3,419 hits, 452 home runs and seven Gold Gloves for his terrific work in left field.
