On June 2, 1973, at Stade Louis II in Monte Carlo, Monaco, World Middleweight Champion Carlos Monzon defended his title against former champion Emile Griffith. Monzon won a unanimous 15-round decision over the aging Griffith. Offered here is a rare, original, on site poster for this event. This poster is paper and pictures both fighters, is clean front and back and has no staining. Bold color and print and professionally linen-backed, there are no tack holes in this extremely rare poster, the first we have seen. Measures 13.75x39".
