Casey Stengel 1938 Wire Photo with Cut Signature
More than a decade before he began his successful run guiding the Yankees' fortunes, Casey Stengel struggled as a skipper. In 1938, he began a sub-par, six-year career managing the Boston Braves, three years after Babe Ruth retired with that franchise. This 1938 framed wire photo shows the "Old Perfesser" stretching on the field. It comes with cut signature from the Hall of Fame legend.
