Cassius Clay 1959 High School Yearbook With Signature (PSA)
Cassius Clay entered high school in Louisville, Kentucky at Central High School in September, 1957, as a 10th grader. He initially made poor grades and withdrew from school in March, 1958. He re-entered in September, 1958 and graduated in June, 1960. Shortly after, he entered the summer Olympics and came home with a gold medal. Offered here is a very rare 1959 yearbook from Central High School which pictures Cassius Clay with his classmates. The yearbook is complete with no loose or missing pages. Clay is pictured on page 59 and his name has been entered next to his picture. The binding is split, but intact and there is some cover soiling. Exceptionally rare and note we have not seen a 1960 school yearbook, making this rarer still. Accompanying the yearbook is a large, vintage Muhammad Ali pencil signature, written on the back of a 1974 reunion flyer when he was about to win his second world title. Bold and over 4" long. Also a 40th high school reunion booklet included. Certified by PSA.
