Championship Ticket Lot of Four (Armstrong, Ambers, Montgomery)
This is a group of four full, unused, on-site tickets featuring four of the great lightweight and welterweights fighters of the late 1930s and 1940s. First is the November 2, 1938 (postponed to November 25) match between Henry Armstrong and Ceferino Garcia, won by Armstrong. Second is for the match between Armstrong and Pedro Montanez on January 24, 1940, also won by Armstrong. Third is for the match between Lou Ambers and Lew Jenkins on May 10, 1940, won by Jenkins, and last is a rare ticket for the fight between Beau Jack and Bob Montgomery on May 21, 1943, won by Montgomery. All four are in VG or better condition and have been authenticated by PSA/DNA. Some rare tickets including championships.
