Charles Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping Photographs (23)

Charles Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping Photographs (23)

In 1932 the nation was transfixed by reports that the infant son of Charles Lindbergh had been kidnapped. A true media circus and slapdash investigation ensued and ultimately the child's disappearance was controversially ruled a homicide. This is a fascinating collection of (23) news service photos dating from 1930 to 1935, beginning with the 1930 report of young Lindbergh III's birth certificate being filed to grim evidence photos from 1935 trial of Bruno Hauptmann. Many shots of the infamous baby boy here as well as views of the Lindbergh home, a family portrait and more. Sized from 6.5 x 8.5" to 8 x 11.5" and ranging in condition from VG to MT.
