Chippewa Salt Advertising Sign, featuring an amazing graphic of a Native American with feathered headdress and bear claw necklace. The sign promotes the "Chippewa Salt / All Grades / Look for the Indian / The Ohio Salt Co. Wadsworth, Ohio". Ohio Salt was founded in 1898, and eventually merged with Morton Salt in 1948. The sign, likely circa 1910, measures 21" x 57", and is paper on tin in a rustic wood frame. Minor touchups, but overall EX-MT, from the home of a long-time collector in Massachusetts.
