Chuck Klein Professional Model Bat

Chuck Klein Professional Model Bat

This Louisville Slugger Hillerich & Bradsby model K55 baseball bat is uncracked and shows evidence of light use. Files at Louisville Slugger, Inc. allow us to pinpoint this bat as having been ordered in the spring of 1949, after Chuck Klein's professional playing career had concluded. Therefore, it may have been used by the Hall of Fame outfielder at an Old Timers' function or as some sort of instructor. The bat measures 35" and weighs 32.5 ounces, with a few ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel. A sticker can be found on the end of the bat showing that it has been authenticated by PSA/DNA.
