Circa 1909 Addie Joss Cleveland Naps Game Worn Pants (MEARS)
These game worn pants date back over a century, and as no known game worn jersey is known to exist in private hands from Hall of Famer Addie Joss, this is as close as it gets. The pair of flannel road pinstripe pants from the Cleveland Naps, circa 1908-09, is all original and shows great use with a team repair on one knee. A Spalding tag is in the waist of the button-front pants, with "Joss" sewn in at the fly area. Joss tossed a perfect game in the 1908 season and, despite his untimely death at age 31 due to meningitis, he still merited Hall of Fame kudos, as his 1.89 career ERA rates second all-time. Comes with MEARS letter rating them authentic (they do not assign numerical grades to pants), a rare and classic piece.
