Circa 1912 Richland Whiskey Advertising Banner

Circa 1912 Richland Whiskey Advertising Banner

This piece, an ad featuring a dog by a bottle of Richland Whiskey, is a framed oil cloth banner that gives the appearance of a painting. Dated 1912 with artwork by noted animal artist Harry Lyman, the piece reads "Old Richland Kentucky Bourbon - The Whiskey is Great" in gold lettering at its bottom-center. The picture has held up very nicely over its long life, maintaining a VG-EX quality, with some crazing. Measuring 37 x 47.5", this item is a wonderful piece of vintage advertising, and with its beautiful artwork, is very easy on the eye.
